Thanks I have added to favourites. Had a bit of luck today at my local garage, the MOT lad recommended a chap who specialises in auto-electrics, was happy to say he had his car sorted by him, so I will give it a spin.

I have been told that the problem is the micro switch but they are having a job to obtain the part. Is there any where reliable that I can order one online from? Thanks for any advice.
