yea im sure the mechanic did this correctly everythings fine once it starts to run and no more "waiting time" for gears to kick in - it almost always happen when the car is idle for a long time, even after i give it a good 5 minute warm up sorry whats this? im not familiar with land rover...

i have a 2005 freelander td4 diesel auto model and recently i just cant get my car wont go into reverse instantly (having to wait between 1 minute to 5) when i shift to R from P. i changed the gear oil but problem persists any idea?
