Hi
When it's idling (just under 1000rpm) it is fine, no noise at all. At about 1000-1200 rpm there's a rattle, it sounds like it's coming from the passenger side footwell/engine bay. I've checked the exhaust heat shields, everything in the engine bay is secure, prop + diff are fine.

I found that the 2 speakers in the back doors were aftermarket so I swapped them to the front as 2.0 hippo said the front ones are naff.
The window was getting stuck on the speakers so I put small blocks of wood between the speaker and door and it raised them enough so that the window could...

Thanks Fyne! I'll check it over the weekend as I'll have to take a speaker shelf and subwoofer out to make it easier.

Check that the anti-roll bar isn't scrubbing against the wishbone.
I have the same year non TD4 also and was told it's a common fault with that model and stuff.
Mine did it a while back as 1 of the 'clips' either side of where it is clamped underneath came off and let the anti-roll bar move...

Hi Fyne
The door handle is solid.
Where would I find the relay?
I'll look into the actuator and wiring when it's lighter :)
Cheers

MOT is tomorrow morning and I've just noticed they aren't working.
The bulbs are fine, connections seem fine but I can't find the fuse, none of the pictures on the fuse box thing look like the bulbs.
Any idea where the fuse is/looks like? Cheers

Hi guys can anyone tell me how I can remove the center console in a 2000 reg Freelander XEDI please?
I got mine yesterday but the stock cassette player was just loosely sitting on the slot so I removed it and I can't find anywhere to screw my new on into but it looks like it has 2 plastic flaps...

Hi there.
You've had new tires and had the tracking looked at/fixed.
Here's a few other things it could be;
Caster/camber
Worn CV joints
A bent rim or badly curbed alloy (whatever you have)
Warped brake discs (doubt that though)
Worn steering bushes
Worn/loose suspension components
Hope you...

My mums disco gets up steep hills easy as in the snow/ice (living in the welsh valleys we have a lot of hills + our drive is pretty much 2 miles uphill) which it gets up effortlessly.
I get my Freelander tomorrow so I'll see how that copes :)

Hi guys
I'm Jack, 18 and live on the Welsh borders.
Just bought a 2000 Freelander XEDI to help a bit with the snow
I would have got a Disco but for insurance reasons I couldn't get any realistic quotes :(
Anyway.. hi there! :-)
