Ok, a bolt had sheared in the hub assembly. Caused a right mess. Replaced the Stub axle, the hub assembly, the bearing and oil seal... Joy. Thanks for your help.

Thanks again. Is there anything special when putting the new diff in? Some people say it is hard to line them up? Some one has said to me that the wheel bearing might have ca lapsed? What do you think?
