Hi all
having had a good read on the forum i have got a little stuck :confused: so here goes with the saga so far
I have a 2001 51 plate td4. It has passed three mot's no real worries and has been stood for six months due to unemployment. Now i am working again its time to put the car back on...

hi guys i had the same problem with mine and have been nursing it along for a couple of weeks till pay day but it broke again today but it only cost me £3.50 to fix it

hi prop shaft is off at the moment i have new bearings for the vcu. there was a small noise from the back before doing the mounts and one of the oil seals is leaking are the carrier bearings a difficult job or would it be best to take it to the garage

hi all i would like to say thankyou to hippo for his excellent guide on how to change the rear diff mounts it made life alot easier :) i have put everything back together and taken it for a test drive and i now have a loud whirring noise coming from the back and i am at a bit of a loss to...

i had the same problem with mine and eventually lost the ability to select any gear took it to the garage and had the master cylinder done. it seemed ok then 1 month later it was back in for the rest of the clutch assembly to be replaced not cheep.

mostly up together at the moment already replaced the full clutch the rear brakes and both track rod end ball joints just waiting for new propshaft bearings and rear diff mounts then i am all sorted

hi, i am jon and new to all this forum stuff. i am the happy owner of a 2001 freelander td4. even when it needs fixing i still love it :)
