    Smoking Brakes

Hi, I doubt your master as well. It may be that when it was fitted the system was not bled correctly, try re-bleeding and re-adjustment first, 10to1 this will cure.

    300tdi starting problems

You have changed the plugs, but are they warming up. If the smoke is blackish then it sounds as though they ar'nt, I had a similer prob last month and it turned out to be an alternator fault, dont know how this caused it but its something else to check?

    Transfer box oil leak

Lever it out gently with blunt chissel or similer, the seal is relitivley soft. Take your time here as you dont want to score the edge of the box housing, its only alloy

    Transfer box oil leak

Sounds typical, yes you can replace in situ after stripping away h/brake assembly. Dig old one out with great care, and very carefully drift in the new one.

    Bits and Pieces

Wiper motors can be sourced from farm shops for pennies, most early tractors used them, poss get for nothing from a farm with broken down old tractor, as most farmers are now going for exotix beasts but just parking oldies up. be polite and you may get em for nowt.

    Bits and Pieces

Sounds like a traditional landy should be, so why sell? second hand carb with choke, cable from scrapper and a couple of padlocks. Sorted. S11 never were the bell of the ball, but still probably the most reliable and rugged.
