    thanks for the reply rob, am also looking at a td5 offered for 1200 quid.. seems cheap to me and mot is about to run out.

    any advice on what to look out for? should i go 300 tdi or 200 tdi? not looking to go serious off roading, just fancy a disco as an all round, car that i can carry stuff in, tow my boat, go fishing, and go to work and back.. are there any models etc i should avoid,,
