Your problem is your trunion bearings req adjustment.The two bearings that hold the front stub axle on have a bearing top and bottom.The top one has shims in wich you have to remove to tighten as they wear.Easy and non exspensive job by a local land rover specialist.

The easyist way to remove the clock is with 2 credit cards. slide one in the top and one in the bottom to release fastners and gently pull out clock and switch complete.

Yes this is fine you will find it does not do it every time. It is an automatic abs check the three bleeps says the system is ok.It caught my local dealer out but landrover email me a copy of a manual suplement.
