My guess is a coolant leak. Probably only leaks very slightly, and only when cold. (pipe expands when hotto plug any leakage?) A little damp patch leak from a cooling system that holds many litres, you probably wont notice much difference in coolant level. Can you try tightening the hose...

Wow - thanks for the fast response guys. I've been in touch with a few breakers, been quoted £95 for the front bumper with all attachments (plastic bits) which i think is quite a decent price. £10 for the eyebrow, and got the wing for £25 (just needs spraying)
