Hi all! I am replacing my Ducellier distributor for a new electronic distributor. Has anyone done this and how was it to set the timing? Just wondering if I should buy a timing light before I start.
You need to flush out the grey stuff with new brake/clutch fluid. Fastest way is a pressure bleeder but can be done the old fashioned way also! Good luck and hope the clutch isn't worn out as well!
Hi Phil! Check check! Take the bottom guard off and check for drips! Check the oil! If it's creamy then you need a new head gasket and possibly a head skim! Check the hoses and radiator for leaks.
The pipes where all new parts and I checked the nits for splits/cracks and they all tightened up and dried up! The pump was tight but the timing was of as the engine was lumpy but might be down to lack of fuel. I've started to remove the pump and I'll look for a replacement or for someone to...
Yip the rear of the pump where the injector pipes cone t! If you go towards the front of the pump there's is a plate/shim which attaches to the side of the engine! Well that's lose and turns a bit and diesel o's coming from there!
Hi all, I got the old ninety 2.5 tdrunning yesterday and it was spewing fuel out the old cav fuel pump!
Needs an overhaul! Anybody selling kits for them?

The Clarke 151te sounds good, tried gas less welding once thought it was ****! If you don't want gas then use an arc welder! Much better welds! Mickntakenki, go for it that's a good way to get into fabrication and a very rewarding job! But I would get the 170 for the job!
Thanks for the advice. Think the Clarke 151 looks good, disapointed to hear that Sip are not so good! I was thinking about a topmig150 as they have a good duty cycle and operate at low amps for light work!
Hello all , any advice greatly appreciated! I am going to buy a mig welder but not getting much help from welding forums! I want a semi pro welder for use on Chassis and light metals, I also want to build two custom overland trailers next year so it has to have a decent duty cycle and be able...
