Hi all! I am replacing my Ducellier distributor for a new electronic distributor. Has anyone done this and how was it to set the timing? Just wondering if I should buy a timing light before I start.

It would definitely be easier with a timing light. Others will say it is best set up by ear as on an older engine parts have worn/stretched etc so timing marks are not 'that' accurate. A timing light will get you very close though. Before you take out your old dizzy make a note of where the rotor arm is pointing so you get it there or there abouts before you start to time the engine properly.
