Just to add... successfully installed new Nakatanenga aerial over the weekend. Bit of a fiddle getting the new lead through the dash to the stereo but other than that all pretty straightforward. And what a difference! Really worth the effort. The reception is SO MUCH better than the original...

I am thinking about replacing the seals on the corner windows of my my truck cab. Trawled the web and found limited but quite contradictory advise ranging from “don’t go there... pay a pro to do this” to “simples”. Does anyone have an experience they want to share or advice to offer?

Thanks everyone for their replies. This is all really helpful. I now have a good sense of what i need to do and how to do it. Is there a risk if I tap into an existing wire (one with a live feed from the ignition) that I will starve the thing that it is supplying of power? I am imagining not -...
