    Defender 300tdi Clutch - Help!

T'was the week before Christmas and all started grinding in the bl**dy gearbox... We have had a slight issue with getting into reverse for a few weeks - you often had to stop the engine, select reverse and then start the engine again. Then first started to be a bit stiff, it didn't grind...

    Defender 110 CSW Vector Drawing/Silhouette

Does anyone know where I can get a vector silhouette of a Defender 110 CSW? It's only for a personal project, nothing commercial. Thanks, James

Has anyone got any direct experience of these? All the online reviews seem positive, but tend to be from Africa or Australia. I wonder how they fair with the UK weather? They look well built, the fact it is motorised doesn't really matter to me, but what I do like is the way everything folds in...

MOT due and she's developed an electrical fault!

Hi, Yes, good advice. Defender 300tdi 110 1997 Blows a fraction after the engine has started, up to this point it seems fine. Many thanks, James

Hi James, Thanks for your help. I got: Stopped: 12.7v Idle and at revs: 14.2v Thought I would test the battery whilst had my meter out, this is what I found: Stopped: 12.6 to 12.8v Key to possition 2: 11.7 to 11.8v once the click (coil relay?) it recovers to 12.2 to 12.3v Start: 9.9v Engine...

MOT due and she's developed an electrical fault!

The MOT is due on Monday and of course the old girl has decided to keep me on my toes by developing an electrical fault, which would be a failure. Here's the description and what I have done so far: The passenger side side lights work with the switch on sidelights and on main beam, so long as...

Help! Going on Hols Monday and an awful vibration has started!

Bugger it. Read all the forums about these sorts of vibrations it seems you can send a lifetime trying to work them out. So it's Cornwall or bust! (Which sounds all fall hardy, but actually we have full AA cover and I know the Land Rover garage in Penryn is very good!) If it's still vibrating...

Help! Going on Hols Monday and an awful vibration has started!

Hi all, I changed both UJs on the front propshaft today and took it for a test drive, had a very small amount of vibration, so drove over to the local Land Rover garage to seek advice. On the way there and back (over an hour) I didn't feel any vibration. He suggested that we change the more worn...

Help! Going on Hols Monday and an awful vibration has started!

UJ had definite movement. I thought the flange did too, but the nut looked pretty new and quite tight.

Help! Going on Hols Monday and an awful vibration has started!

Panic not, my can I dive to Cornwall on one propshaft was tongue in cheek! I am struggling to tighten nut as the car moved back, but tomorrow I will have someone who can have their foot on the brake. It looked pretty tight and new actually.

Help! Going on Hols Monday and an awful vibration has started!

Fiddled with it for ages, but couldn't get it to go in. Usually it needs a bit of movement to jump in, so I guess that's the problem?
