Good thinking guys :)
Looks a job for a nice sunny day

Thanks bud
When I looked at some of the videos the bulbs look like surface mount LEDs so not entirely sure they can be removed easily?

Even during the test it doesn't show the 'missing' dash lights so I think this is a 'physical' fault - fuse, connector, light itself?
I'll check all connections to the LCM after locating it :)

I've done the nr-02 test which brings up all lights (in my case the faulty ones don't light)
Thanks :)
Just seen your video - that's the exact same one I followed !!

Just done the NR-02 test on the dashboard and all lights work aside from the ABS, ((P)), Engine ones - will have to have the dash out. From looking at a few Youtube videos it seems it uses surface mount LED's so might be a royal pain in the butt !

Cheers Scotty - it's first on my list, especially as it's an easy diagnosis (will swap the two banks over to see if it follows

The lights all appear to be fine (minus the few fault codes about ignition voltage on the XID's being <7.5v).
The fact the lights on the dash don't come up when you flick the key I think means they're either fused (unlikely as some are working) or a connector is duff. I do think they have had...

Not during my ownership. Surely if that was the case no light would work?
Good thinking tho' ... That option never occurred to me!

Hi,
not sure if it was a rogue owner (after what appears to be a badly done LPG tune possibly causing the CEL to turn on) or there's a genuine reason ....
But now a whole series of lights are not coming on when the ignition is turned as would normally for a self-test.
Had the car...

Thanks Saint.V8 - I have been meaning to get the hoses etc checked as I've readed they are a common failure, especially given the age of the vehicle (MY04).
I had somebody hit my passenger side front wheel yesterday evening so unfortunately the car is somewhat injured :( - the camber of the...

Cheers - thought as much!
I'll have to find somebody capable of doing it - wonder why they'd be screwed in the first place?! Surely these are fixed values from the factory.
From my limited tuning experience (jap cars) you typically only play around with these if you've modified the car -...

Thanks again mate :)
Stupid question but I know how they adjust the fuel trims on LPG as they're obviously stored in the LPG ECU - I presume it's much the same for the petrol trims? A trip to an independent should do the trick?

Will do Datatek :)
This couldn't be causing my Lambda or control crankshaft codes could it?

J
Thanks Saint.V8 - I'll get it checked tomorrow.
I was told the thermostat thing was used to bring the engine up to temp on a cold start and therefore it's not pivotal?! Unless I misunderstood!
I seem to sometimes be down on power and sometimes it feels like it's just waiting to go - think this...

Interested to know what you kind people think following my visit today to the local indy:
Got them to pull out the fault codes whilst I photo'd them on the T4 diagnostics .... this is what the ECM gives:
1.Electric thermostat circuit fault (I know what this is and it's now been unplugged)...
