hi folks any know how to change the coil pack on a 1996 4.6 hse?????

i would take it to a specialist but its an easy fix it just needs one of the twin coil packs that the ht leads attach to replacing it will take me about an hour i reckon but an LR specialist will charge me about 600 quid

nothing to do with ht lead as there is no spark coming from a long metal stripe that it plugs in to, theres no spark from there. any other suggestions????

right then folks i found out from removing the ht leads one at a time that there is no spark being created by one of them so the engine is only running on 7 cylinders. any ideas what this couild be caused by such as possibly the dizzy cap etc (if it has one, cos i cant see one anywhere). this...

hi folks gonna look over the things suggested this afternoon by the way i forgot to mention that it has a bad smell of petrol fumes by the exhuast so i think its running to rich but have been told that this might be cuased by the same problems
