    Thanks mate. chains are over due as dealers state life until noise. But once noise is there sometimes too late. Mines done 144k miles and needs doing with belts and water and oil pumps as the chains fail as their guides and tensioners give way after a bit

    Yeah exactly and didnt want same issue as a minor maintenance changing the belts and chain but if snaps and crank goes then car is just scrap

    Yeah just realising that from all posts. I’ll find a local garage to put the one side back on with new chain and new belt. Then once on road take it to someone and get it all done properly
