Dear Sierrafery - thanks for this. I may have to resort to this method as I live up a very bumpy track - hence the Disco - and am miles away from the nearest diagnostic place. Don't want to drive the car down the track without some air in the bags.

Dear Disgoo - thanks for the suggestion but I jacked up the back end and there was no sign of life when i started the motor. Yellow light still lit on the dashboard and no sign of life from the compressor. Might suggest an error message I think?? Ian
