what i am thinking is to get an ordinary car what i would need for work for a few hundred quid max ( basically an old bangor with some mot ) and then have a go

on top of all the other issues my head gasket or a cracked head has gone.
symptoms to begin with where struggling to pick up through the grears ( which i assume is water going in the cylinders). it then overheated and steam was slightly escaping through the radiator cap. no water in oil and no...

mine done that when i changed a heater hose. its was air.

i have been told that if it is rock hard then it is head gasket but if you can squeese it
then its ok..

i am pretty sure it is beyond my capabilitys and i havent made up my mind on
whether i want to keep it yet. i think it is because my head is against the roof.

its dropped again today, 10.8mpg. i thinking about changing both sensors and have
decided that overhaul etc is not an option.
what does the stepper motor do?

well hopefully i havent got electrical problems as since i took the washer/shim out

i have removed the plate, there was no washer behind the nut, but there was a washer behind the plate so i removed that. what is a shim because as far as i could see there
was nothing else behind there.
it worked when i put it back together but i wont know for sure if it has cured it till...
