Yes there are a lot of negative reviews but i had a good experiance - maybe just lucky or they are better now. Only issue with the chassis and bulkhead was the top door hinge holes which needed moving forwards about 5mm. Just about to fit another sheilder bulkhead so hopefully that fits as well

I've almost finished rebuilding a 110 200tdi onto a new galvanised chassis and bulkhead for a friend. If you have the space and time i'd definately recomend doing the work yourself - you will spend a lot more but have a much better vehicle at the end of if, and know how everything works.

Almost exactly a year ago now. I'm up for renewal in a couple of weeks. I had my father as a named driver which brought it down a bit, I was insured for 8000 miles but nothing else that was special.

I recently converted my def 90 to soft top for the summer and a friend gave me what he thought was the canvas for one, however it clearly isn't.
Does anyone have any idea what is might be off - he is sure it is ex military but not sure what vehicle?? My best guess is a forward control but...

I'm 17 and I got a great quote (under 1000) form aviva van insurance and no black box !! They have also been great with modifications - no issues converting to soft top or fitting a winch

no cam belt went really well. I used OEM kit from craddocks. I took intercooler out after the timing cover was back on just to clean it out. The only issue was tightening the crank bolt?? my torque wrench doesnt go that high so was a bit of a guess - breaker bar and scaffold pipe.

Hi a new ish landrover owner here. Got my first defender last august. Enjoying reading old threads that have lots of useful advice. Changed timing belt yesterday with some help from on here.
