    M16 tow hitch bolt stuck in cross member

    Tried fitting a drop hitch to my defender 90 but have an issue. One of the m16 bolts will not come out the cross member and is spinning so I guess the nut has come loose inside can I drill up from the bottom of the cross member to get inside the sealed box ? Or have I got to go through the back...
