    How early is the RRC?? They used to have a relay on the bulkhead in engine bay for a starter relay.

    Diconect the brown/yellow first. Turn ignition on & see if battery light is lit. If it’s lit start car up & it should go out. Think the brown/yellow is for a rev counter. Do you have 1 fitted?

    Yes that helps… Shows that the reservoir is always close to the steering box I san see your only 1/2 way through the workshop manual

    are the 2 different chassis sizes & makes? You could not butt/sleeve these together Questions.. After truck cabins the disco how much chassis do you have left?? The hi cap tub over hangs a chassis, are you over hanging or going flush to the chassis? What is the wheel base of the project motor...

    @hef19898 after some help…is your motor a left hand drive? Would you have any photos of the locations of your power steering reservoir(don’t worry if it’s the old metal type just need location) Thanks for helping us out

    1 pipe into steering box 1pipe to pump.(metal pipe & rubber ends) As you see I have just clips on the reservoir. Thought…. Unsure how a left hand drive is set up. Off for a search to see if the res is moved .

    Spotted these.they both look like yours. the sedimenter is off a disco but not looked for 1 of them. They normally corroded & fail so I removed mine. You can get a gauze fitting on the end of the pick up

    I have seen that part on the bay last night. When I’m parked up later will have a look again It looked like only 1 pipe connection though. Does yours have the 2? Flow pick up & return? O

    Yep just put a reducer on it. If I’m home early tonight I will check my motor & post a photo if needed.

    Early seals were fitted to the bulkhead Later models had the seals stuck to the flaps.
