If you are using the compression fittings drill..
Is there room to drill another hole in it & use a bulkhead fitting(allows the nylon fuel pipe through & then locks off) right angle out the tank & away you go…
You can do the above on a 90 tank but not on the side outlet of the 110 tank

Bike chain dry lube.(grey bottle from halfrauds)Comes in liquid form stops my chain getting rusty during mountain biking in the winter so should work on other things.
Also Use it on the horse ramp hinges.

If you keep the windows closed the fumes roll back in.
We either drive with door tops off or sides rolled up
Don’t have the luxury of flaps on the S1 to open

Nice motor. Is that a stumpy r380 gear box?
Can’t help with the engine wiring but all the looms were the same. The v8 engine loom plugs in to the main loom.
Have you got any looms? Fuse box etc

It’s normally the tips on the float stops. They are rubber type & get a ridge on them & then stuck(that’s why you give them a tap to release them)
SU do good rebuild kits probally takes longer to get the carbs off than to rebuild
