Don't trust anything about the restoration.
Remove the seat. Remove the lid on the seat box. Take a good look around the tank.
Especially when the bash plate cradles the inner tank at...
Another good thing about the Stable matting is that the dimples on the under side mean that air can circulate between the metalwork and rubber, keeping things dry. Easy and cheap to do, hard wearing, good sound proofing. No downside at all.

That is why I have a low amp fused bypass on mine. Enough to keep things powered, radio, tracker, alarm etc, but as soon as you turn the ignition on and the glow plug tray kicks in the fuse will blow! You just need something similar for the alarm...

Yeah that's mine in the video. Everything else is solid besides that and when id taken it off the rubber had become detached. No idea what's going on but I've ordered a poly set and I've also managed to get a febi set from my local motor place...

Look fo a number plate. This can be checked quickly in dvla we site.
Vin plate will be around 3”x3”as the bulkhead looks stripped it could be with these parts.
