Right angled adapter on driller but was tight.

Removed the battery light cable from the alternator stud and connected it to the alternator pin, and everything works fine! It would seem there is an issue with the alternator stud terminal - spoken to the supplier and waiting to...

That’s probally an original relay. Mine were like that. Unsure what relay size these are.
I had a (landrover) green 5pin relay laying around & have been using this.
If it’s not the relay causing your problem it’s the ignition switch on the rear...
Thanks for this. I tested the relay on the bench, as you suggested. Seemed to work well (ie, activated the higher amp circuit), but not in the vehicle. Swapped another relay in and it worked. Either the original relay is unreliable or...
Thanks Again. Cant get better seal untill next week, so just gonna use what I have got, bloody sick of getting held up waiting for parts to get delivered. Will have a go anyway then if it goes bad will have to order. .

I've just had the whole thing out and it seems the hook had rotated somehow and so could pop out, I've turned it through 180 and it seems to fit snugly ...I've also squeezed the sides of the handle in the vice so hopefully it'll hold against it a...
