Right angled adapter on driller but was tight. May have taken the wing off to make life easier. Hardest is the inside/near engine Done this on 2.5 in a S1 Been years since I done this though

I drilled straight through & nut & bolt to secure. Think I used brass nuts

Metal cable ties .. will do the job 😊

Tie the rope to the rear of the car so when you drive off,the ramps will follow. Saves walking too far carrying them back to the garage

Problem found!! Removed the battery light cable from the alternator stud and connected it to the alternator pin, and everything works fine! It would seem there is an issue with the alternator stud terminal - spoken to the supplier and waiting to...

You don’t need to do a course. As long as you have a methodical way of taking things apart & can weld you will be good. Have a look through of the threads where people have rebuilt these & you will see what’s involved. Good luck & enjoy.
