3D printed aimable heater vents - anyone got a source?

I saw a chap on eBay selling rotatable heater vents for the pre-puma dash a while back, but the listing was taken down a while back and never reappeared! Anyone know of where I can pick a pair up, or have access to a 3D printer and some CAD software to do a knock off set?

    straight through pipe td5..

Its a 99' td5, he wont have a cat! i have a straight centre pipe on my 90, it sounds good but can certainly be very boomy on motorways. may be different on a 110, but I'm gonna be looking to swap it out for a bullet silencer from allisport/alivetuning/demand engineering.

    Gullwing doors.

I've not seen gullwing windows in the flesh yet, however I'm looking at a set as part of my build. current front runners (har har) are MobileStorageSystems https://www.mobilestoragesystems.net/products/side-door-and-frame-mss-sdaf?_pos=6&_sid=ee166146c&_ss=r&variant=17638049671 and the fancy...

    Home made fridge?

You've not mentioned where it is that you will be using your fridge. Could you use a cool box? I spent a deal of time looking and decided I didn't need a powered or gas fridge as im simply not likely to ever be routinely far enough away from civilisation to justify it, and the extra convenience...

    Tyre's .. time has come ..

Snow rated would be a stretch but they meet the legal requirement. They absolutely won't be as good as a pair of BFG KO2's on snowy roads - however they're legal on the continent and certainly good enough to get you where you are going, or close enough that some snow chains up front will fix...

    Tyre's .. time has come ..

I've JUST fitted some Toyo Open country M/Ts in 255/85/16 on boost alloys and they've come out to a tall 33.5". If I was buying something for overlanding and I didn't have the 2" lift, I'd go for 235/85/16 over the 265/75/16. Slightly narrower and taller promises better mud performance with a...

How essential is the rear sway bar on a TD5 D90?

Fundamentally not especially difficult to replace. I could do it tomorrow, but if I do I'll want to replace it with new bushes and links at least, probably new bolts. It'll stay off until I can order those as a minimum I think. It's not as if it's going anywhere for the foreseeable anyway!

How essential is the rear sway bar on a TD5 D90?

Aforementioned son here - The foremost two bolts were captive when I removed it, the rear most were held in using odd bolts and nyloc nuts that were an absolute pain to remove trying to guess spanner size on a rusted nut that then would not budge. I'm now missing a couple chunks of knuckle and...

    Speaker System For Landys

I have a UE megaboom 3 jammed into the dashboard of my Td5! Charges via a USB i have plugged into the cigarette lighter and i've found it to be plenty good enough, with the added bonus of always having a party speaker with me for when the beers come out. Buy one of those and a YETI cooler with...

'99 Td5 battery issues, possible new alternator?

Hey guys, Was driving along a few days ago and saw that the speedo and fuel gauge were totally dead, I stopped the car and it refused to start again. The RAC recovered me using a booster to my battery and I've not been able to figure out the cause since. The battery light didn't come on at any...
