    Hi Will, Took a bit of digging, but I think I've found what they are ! part of the Torque Tamper assembly... Take a look, have a read here: How to fit Torque Tamer bushes. - MG-Rover.org Forums Putting them back may help the feel of the Freeby!

    A little odd that's for sure! Take the cam carrier off to get at the lifters, and I have pressure in all pots! (The valves now close) :mad:
