I have come across a 2011 130 that was fire damaged. My Td5 chassis has seen better days, could the 2011 chassis be made to work with my current 2000mdl Td5 as a replacement chassis?

Just an update. We dropped the oil pan to see, the oil pump bolt and a broken chain lying in the sump. Not sure what i am going to do, at this stage I think we will source a second hand 16P engine.

Thanks For the reply, I have read a lot about this bolt issue, however I was wondering if there could be something else that would cause fragments of plastic to be in the sump

Any idea on what the plastic is from?

Today started up the Defender and heard a bit of a clunk, oil light stayed solid, turned it off. I found a small piece of black plastic on the dipstick. Any thoughts, Do I have big problems!
