I have come across a 2011 130 that was fire damaged. My Td5 chassis has seen better days, could the 2011 chassis be made to work with my current 2000mdl Td5 as a replacement chassis?
Just an update.
We dropped the oil pan to see, the oil pump bolt and a broken chain lying in the sump.
Not sure what i am going to do, at this stage I think we will source a second hand 16P engine.
Thanks For the reply, I have read a lot about this bolt issue, however I was wondering if there could be something else that would cause fragments of plastic to be in the sump
Today started up the Defender and heard a bit of a clunk, oil light stayed solid, turned it off.
I found a small piece of black plastic on the dipstick.
Any thoughts, Do I have big problems!
