Managed to break the tailgate glass on the other half's Freelander on Sunday whilst replacing the window regulator; apparently I'm by no means the first to do this! She needed the car Tuesday morning to go to uni; she's disabled and no rear window on a cold day would do her no favours at all...

I've already had a browse.... looks like a strip and rebuild is in order. Seems to be a weak point of the car.

Ah, sorry! 2006 TD4 3 door. Absolute tip inside of course but she loves it. Handbrake's crap though, even I have trouble getting it to bite; I've replaced the shoes and cables, it passed the MOT but the tester must've had gorilla arms!
