Hi guys, So, got the defender back today! But i know it had been standing, not for too long, but long enough to know things will need changing as it goes back into use... Now when i started back all was good, until i went to find 3rd gear :( So the problem is, it wont go into 3rd, or...

Thanks for the reply guys! I understand this might sound extremely daft to most of you, but if you don't ask you will never learn! :p What's the advantage of having disco axles rather than the 90 ones? Stronger i suspect? Going to see a guy tomorrow that wants to buy the whole disco :/, but...

As Danny said, great chassis on her, would rather not cut as it would seem a real waste! Currently has Proton Satria GTI seats in the front, but i also have bucket seats, but not sure how to fix them as theres no top to the seat box? i would be using side mountings on the bucket seats anyway...

Thanks for reply guys! Disco does not have ABS With regards to the engine, would i be better off finding a defender engine rather than a disco one? or are they same amount of work with both?
