Obviously I'm hoping to maximise the amount I can get for it but I think the absolute lowest I'd go would be £8500.

Oh of course and you have every right to be suspicious. Believe me, I've already been contacted by countless obvious fraudsters through eBay already.
I don't know what else I can do to satisfy your suspicions but if anyone has any questions then fire away and I'll answer as best I can.

If you look back through my history you'll see evidence of this forum ripping the **** out of me for my hairdresser's defender too. :P

That's the old 110 that I had before this Wolfie.
Don't post on here very often but wanted to promote my sale on here and spread the word in case anyone had any Discoveries.
Nothing fishy going on, but then I would say that even if something were, wouldn't I? :P

Excellent. Will try that tonight. Is that starter wire easy to spot and re-attach for a beginner?

It's not that it starts sometimes. This is literally the first time this has happened on this Defender. It's now stuck on my drive at home. Will try and charge the battery a bit tonight though I'm not sure the girlfriend's Suzuki Alto will prove to be fit for purpose. :P

I'd just been out in it ten...

I have 2 9v USB adapters in my Defender 90 which have been working fine for a year or so.
The other day I plugged in two USB adapters and today my 90 refused to fire up. Stereo comes on and the battery and oil lights light up which suggests my battery's charge is low and leaving the USB...

Thing is, the headlights were working fine until I put the new sidelight bulb in. All I did was take the front cover off, replace the bulb and screw back in.
The only thing I can think is that when I reached in to grab the bulb clip for the side light holder maybe I inadvertently move a wire...

So one of the side lights on my Defender 90 recently packed in and today I eventually got around to replacing it. Problem is, after I put a new bulb in, said side light still doesn't work and now my headlights won't work either and a relay is making an annoying buzzing noise when I switch them...

To set the record straight, I'm not a farmer, nor a chav, nor do I go off-roading. But I do have two big German Shepherds which is why I own a Defender and not a Rav4.
