Defender Td5 won't start. I think it's probably something to do with the alarm/immobiliser which I'm told can be accessed using a NANOCOM? Obviously happy to pay if someone can help, cheers.

The Echo4x4 Tent is supposed to be self supporting even without the ladder but I don't intend to take any chances so will keep my eye on it. It comes with a removable/washable condensation liner, not tried it yet so can't comment on how good it is.

I think I have a similar rack? Bought a selection of bits from Screwfix and eBay, Ended up giving this a go, Used four and it seems to be quite solid, I'll keep my eye on it. Due to the "Add A Tent" the roof tent bit has to be installed off centre so that the valance with the Velcro hangs down...

That is with the ignition off.

Cheers guys, now have a 110 Td5, I've rebuilt the starter motor, changed the air and fuel filters and will do the oil etc. when it warms up a bit!

Is your dad not picking seats up from me Monday? Yes, I'm pretty sure they'll fit any Defender but were removed from a 2002 model.
