Some pics of the old landy so far.....
Its had 2 new out riggers and i have lots of new bulkhead pannels coming for it ...

2nd front outrigger done....
Now to start the bulkhead.....

The original engine would have been a 2.5td...
It drove very well coming home so just going to do the timing belt as dont know when it was last done....
And all the oils and filters

The plan is to strip it all back and clean, paint and renew everything...
I am just going to do it bit by bit...

Had to weld a new section of floor in for mot today :mad:
well thats it all done now:D apart from off side rear anti roll bar locating pin insecure and i cant find anything wrong.....:(
thats the mot discription.

I have already done the n/s/r body mount for the mot in the summer that was a nippy job its self . The tester said it was the seat belt mounts and the n/s rear seat prop that were not safe..
The floor is only bad at the last 300 mm up to the fuel sensor hatch will i have to buy the hole floor or...

Took the discovery for mot today :)
it failed on the stupid boot floor:mad:
more welding :(

Just finished fitting 2" sping spacers and new shocks:D

I fitted my new 2" spring spacers to the rear of the disco :D

Just finished welding up rear body mount on n/s . now have to think of puting it all back together :D

Started cutting out good old rot from N/S rear body mount .....

I may have to look up the haynes bible. Points and condensors are long before my time may have set up wrong
hence i was wanting to change

I was just wondering if anyone had converted from points to a new electronic module ?
How good are they and how hard are they to fit ?
I have just fitted new points and condensor to my landy now there is less power :confused:
