So, after rapidly ordering all the spare parts required for a complete suspension renewal on both front corners from AF yesterday, on a premium urgent Saturday delivery, DPD turned up missing 1 box 🤬 Driver “Sorry mate, must be still at the...

My first thoughts are whether the icarsoft can talk to the SRS and if it does whether it successfully connected to your SRS ECU. Sounds silly when you have your own diagnostic device, but I'd see if there was a garage willing to give you the...

So after 11 years of owning my FL1 I finally got around to getting the rear window washer working. I made it more of a mission than what it needed to be! I thought the pump motor was stuffed - no. Took both pumps out and then the washer bottle...

You broke it ! Not uncommon apparently. My Sport TD4 passed MOT today with no advisories ! Treated it to some fuel and a clean beforehand.

Maybe it might be quicker overall to learn a little more about coding Arduino than learning how to code the 'AI' ;)

I believe a popular insurer for modified vehicles used to be Adrian Flux... https://www.adrianflux.co.uk/ IIRC they used to be a sponsor on LZ. Can't help with the noise. Do you know all the donor parts were OK?

After fitting the Hifly Super2000's and getting the F1 through its WOF recheck, I took it for a blast last night after work out to Twilight Golf then home afterwards. 26km drive out on the open road and the car/tyres looked to be performing well.

I've got a little further with charge control As always I need to write this out cause my brain is way to small to think this through and every time I think it's ready to wire into the car I realise I've forgotten about some issue that could crop...

It's t It's the way I've approached the whole thing from 2020. I started with a vague idea what to do, broke the whole thing down into bite sized projects and worked on each as I came to it. It resulted in mistakes and extra work from time to...

You don't say which window? You can cut the wires, make sure the glass doesn't fall down though.

I've just ordered a couple of Hifly Super2000 tyres for my (2WD) F1. I'm sure the guy said $77.40 each - which equates to £35! I'll see when the invoice comes in. Should get the tyres this afternoon and I'll fit them tomorrow. At that price...

Daughter brought my old F1 over so I could service it for her… I ordered the parts last week from AF. Pleased to see it’s not leaking anything, and still running sweet. Oil and filters changes. She stopped for a bite to eat and left, but seems...

What does diagnostics say? If there's some error codes, it'll most likely point you in the right direction.

+1 On the bright side, at least you won't have a hose pipe ban.

Apart from the starter issue, that you look to have covered having proved the voltage in the wire can control a relay, you look to be down to 'regular' mechanical issues. Pretty good position to have got yourself into

Do these lights come on on a self test. When I get in my F2, I put the key/fob in the reseptical, foot on brake, press the start button and it fires up. I'm not sure if it does a self test on the bulbs. I just did a test. I put the fob in and...

yes, the lay shaft (as identified in the TD4 Manual/slots into/connects to crown wheel in IRD) doesn't actually have a bearing fitted to it. The layshaft shaft enters the crown wheel shaft. It's the crown wheel shaft that is touching the bearing...
