Tyres were fine until this problem occurred. My wife said she only drove 3 miles with the whining noise. I don't know why she didn't stop when the noise was first heard. I was asleep. Thanks. Andy

Thanks for replying mine td4 is an 03, I didn't know that about the bearings. I don't think it mentions anything like that in my Haynes manual, unless I misread it. Thanks again. Andy

Guys I have just fitted new wheel bearings ( rear ) to my TD4, it drives well but i have some warning lights on now ? TC,ABS, Hill descent warning light and the handbrake warning light ????? Does any one know what I've done wrong ????? Andy
