Does anyone know where I can obtain a passenger side wing mirror cover from? This is just the plastic casing that fits onto the back of the unit. It appears mine was stolen (mysterioulsy disapeered overnight ). The electric mirror still works fine so I dont want to pay for a whole new unit...

The same happened to me on my 98 Freelander. (When you changed gears and released the clutch there would be a loud thud!) Turns out it was the Centre Rear Diff Mount (as Sparky said above) which was £16 for the part. - it was repaired at the same time as other work so not sure the labour costs...

Hi All, Everytime I turn on my 1998 Landy Freelander I hear a short grinding noise. It happens everytime it starts but only lasts for a split second. I have a feeling it might be the starter motor disengaging from the fly wheel, but has anyone else experienced this or knows how to adjust or...
