It does say tighten bolt, but to my way of thinking,they fail due to the metal rod going through the rubber by the metal sleeve, if there was a small bit of movement that wouldn't happen

Ok folks, I have now replaced the offending offside airbag, both height sensors, and need to fit the nearside airbag, but I stupidly miss-placed the new olive for the valve so dont know if I can aquire a complete valve of just an olive so nearside bag will have to wait, ( any ideas if I can get...

Really appreciate all the help. I have replaced the airbag on the offending offside and all seems good, will replace the nearside this weekend, just one problem, I lost the olive from the valve, doesn't look like I can get another valve, so any ideas, the old bags had the guest push in type but...

Thanks That's brilliant, another silly question, when fitting new height sensors, do you tighten the bottom arm up tight or leave a bit of movement?

Mobile mechanic sounds a good idea but have now ordered new bags, just seen on you tube a kit to service the compressor, anybody done this and are there problems? just one more thing, now that I have learn't a lot about the suspension I cannot remember pushing the self levelling button and...

yes thanks, when I looked up removing the air tube at the top of the bag it says undo 10 mm nut, looking at it I don't think its a nut, is there another system if so, how do I detach it, couln't find the info on youtube

Just wondering, if I replace the airbags with springs, apart from having to have the ECU programmed are is there anything else I should Know, also after fitting, can I drive about 5 miles to have the programming done?

Problems with air suspension again, on my way home and the offside rear dropped, managed to get it home, changed the height sensor, the vehicle only seems to raise when I jack it up on the tow bar, the compressor runs ok. took the vehicle around the block and it dropped again, could be a faulty...

why is it that i can lock the vehicle with the remote from quite a distance away but I cannot unlock the vehicle unless I hold the remote next to the car.
