OK - new issue! Given I might be one of a half a dozen people in North America that drives a diesel Landy and I plan on keeping this until I am cocooned and buried in it I will soon be looking for a rebuilt 300 TDi to slip in. I am going to start asking around here if anyone can rebuild but the confused looks I get on just owning it has given me thought to just importing one from the UK to have installed. This will go into a 1997 Land Rover Discovery, manual transmission. Again, I am not a mechanic, just love the car. I would prefer to have all the bells and whistles included with the engine, if possible, so I am not missing anything when the mechanic says, "oops". Any guidance as to where I might start looking? thanks
