Hi all, I have a 1998 Defender Wolf and the chassis is in very good condition, having had dinitrol treatment from new. Now 20 years old I want to have it done again and wonder if anyone can recommend somewhere in West Sussex area and give an idea of price? Thanks in advance

Washer pump for one of them. There is a discussion on series 3 wiper motors on here but my work phone won't let me cut and paste. Maybe someone else can help.

Have a look on the online encyclopaedia, that sounds like encyclopedia, some info. on there and other resources online. I'd probably just accept it for what it is and enjoy it.

It may be a ringer be careful what you identify on an open forum.....Though series 2a were last produce in 1971 and perfectly feasible that chassis rotted and was changed. As has been said, they are very interchangeable.

Did you ever find your wolf?

I always find more than I expected once I've committed and bought the car home. Bought a Wolf this week and found a few extras not noticed with rose tinted glasses at time of buying. Still, its all fixable and lets be honest, most of us buy a Landy so we can improve/fix them.

Have you seen the blue one on cars and classics with air con for £10500? Looks more original in reasonable condition, plus low mileage.

This thread has made me check both engine and chassis number. Both check out as original V8 90 and correspond with v5. So original engine and chassis, just not colour and wheels and only done 60odd thousand. BUT kids and I love it and it will be staying in Sussex for now

Hi, Engine number on V5 is 24G01675A if that means anything?

Mine is 1988, just not original colour / wheels at the moment. Only done 69000miles with history from 1994. Kids love it, looking at getting a stainless exhaust to make the most of the V8.

I'd be interested to hear the result of the valuation as I have a similar 90. Please keep us posted.

Hi, Can anyone guide me where i could buy a rear n/s brake pipe for the above? Managed to shear mine replacing the brakes. Thanks.
