260 bhp, what have you done to it ? i had a VRS and you would have to spend a lot of cash to get that horsepower :scratching_chin:

The copper contacts in the starter solenoid, mine was the same, you can get a repair kit (new contacts) for about a tenner on flea bay, mine has been spot on since.

Cheers Gents, the fuel connector on the head is leaking and will get looked at first,evrything fine until 2500 rpm which may be enough vacumn to suck air in ? We shall see :confused:

After firing a new fuel filter to mine (Fram) it took a while to start, take no notice of the 5 times thing in the handbook. Mine eventualy went after a good number of purges and keeping the throttle on trhe floor with **** loads of black smoke when it did fire. Make sure filter is on tight...

I love my disco but it now starting to try me ! since November new starter solenoid contracts, new psitons in rear brake calipers, MOT time needed new front shocks,ARB bushes and steering box. It has now started missing under load at approx 2500 rpm, anyone have any ideas ? I do have a small...

Diesel, Could be the fuel connector unit attached to the O/S of the engine at the rear of the cylender head ?

Got a re-con box from Paddock.today i replaced front shocks,front anti-roll bar bushes and rear bump stops only the box to so, i have not got a workshop manual any tips or tricks looks like a PIA to change ?

Failed the MOT on steering box leak, £300 exchange yet a seal kit is available, local specialist who did the MOT reckons they never work and leak after a month or so ? Has anyone changed seals and did it work and what sort of job was it ? He also issued an advisory on the fuel connector valve...

I had a LWB 2.5TD Pajero import 1991,when auctioned in Japan they are classed by condition, i think it is A,B,C Etc, mine was an A and it really was as new underneath minty mint,it had 15 litres of waxoyl chucked at it to keep it like that, mind you i did not have it long as the fuel consumption...
