Didn’t notice that at the time… both front sensors have 0 DC, but both rears have ~2.4… 🤔
Maybe try Nodge’s suggestion with a multimeter on the fronts first
So grateful to Freddie17 for coming over today and for all of your suggestions.
I have attached the data from PSCAN as we were driving along. Sorry that it sis not that easy to read.
Mostly the HDC green light does not appear. It came on once...
1.7kph when stationary is normal. I think that this is the "slowest" speed that it can sense.
The diagnostic protocol gets cut off above a certain speed, for "health and safety" reasons.
The ABS is not actually functioning when the diagnostic...
Switched out the RH upper engine mount insulator for a nice shiny new LR one.
It’s oil(?) filled, and was flagged as suspect whilst having some work done the other week. Sure enough, it was leaking when I got it out.
Think the tie-bar rubber is...
Of course it's not always the case, but often the bargain basement model was bought for a reason and likely not looked after/maintained to the same level as the top of the range model
The strange thing for me is how I could read the Wabco fine, and see live data, but is lost connection within 10 seconds of actually driving. Then did the exact same thing again.
Does the light stay on normally until you start driving? If so you'll only be able to read wheel speed when the light is on
Think it's normal to have a speed>0 at stationary
I'm pretty sure the Amigo lamps on the dash are powered by wires coming from the Wabco ecu...
So if they are lit, it is because these pins have been powered by the Wabco ecu. Strange there are no error codes in it.
When HDC is selected, the...
You can manually check the sensors by putting a multimeter on the output. Set it to resistance, and you should get something around 1k Ohms. If you them set the meter to AC volts and spin the wheel, you should see a voltage being delivered. A...
@GrumpyGel
I’ve just been over and plugged Pscan in for @GP1006.
Connected to Wabco ECU and no codes. In fact, could only find a code on the engine side for the fuel temp sensor, and a code on the srs side… possibly linked to 3 amigos?
Took it...
So you want to spend £2-5k on a D3, use it as a daily, take it green-laning, but not spend lots on maintenance and repairs?
Good luck!
You might get lucky. You need to find one that has been loved but is still cheap(?), so as @lynall says, I’d...
Thought i would post an update as I've made progress.
On another recent thread someone posted that the air intake temperature sensor works in tandem with the MAP sensor, and I can confirm that if you just replace the temperature sensor without...
Top of my head torque converter recon 1.4k, a few sets of tyres 2k at least, they like to eat tyres, 6x injectors 1.2k due to unstable idle, quite a common fault, just last month mot fuel tank skid plate 250 quid, battery 120 quid, this is its...
