I think you will need to get a master cylinder with a smaller diameter, but longer travel. or a larger diameter slave cylinder.

could it just be the oil cooler pipes, as they are known to leak.

isnt it the turbo which is known to overload that engine? I have heard of (is it 19J) engines digesting their own oil through the turbo.

Silly of me. I should have said it is a Disco 1. Do you need to know the engine and body type? It is a 200TDi.

Is there an easy way to fit a radio in a Disco without it sitting 80mm above the centre console? can it be angled, or is it just one of those things?

Actuator solenoid? I dont think it is an easy fix.
