Ye I know where your coming from, it's just a car to me, but my mate got involved saying "oh you can put the newer headlights on that" and "I'm sure you can put the newer satnav in that!" Get on one of those landrover forums they'll show you how to do it! £700 later and it doesn't look like...

It's an identical formula with any forum that somebody joins for help... You get one helpful person who doesn't mind sharing a bit of knowledge with somebody who, if new the answer, wouldn't be asking... And the one who sits and waits all evening for someone to ask a question he knows the...

Well, you sound like you've done your homework on this topic so if you know anybody who's looking for a brand new touchscreen facia unit, I'm your man! Can I still change the rear to a DVD unit for the more modern satnav???

Was hoping that as you can swap the rear GPS unit to the later DVD unit (plug and play) you would be able to do the same with the head unit, I've seen a couple of 04's with the newer touch screen in?? So was wandering if anyone managed it?

Hi, looking to update from 04 non touch screen to 06 touchscreen model, just stripped dash out to find connectors are different :D Is there a fix for this? Can anyone help? Thanks Junior
