Oh the bloke who sold it said the blue would mean it was extra fast!!

Its a 2.5 tdi 1991. When i say losing power i mean the revs die slowly and i need to climb down the gears and it definatly feels as though the power is being lost.When i undid the fulel bleed screw ontop of the filter i could not get an diesel to come out when bleeding the system Suspisous!!

I think this means i ned to get a new fuel pump. I am losing power and revs on long hill climbs.Any other ideas other than a dodgy fuel pump.I should add that if i waggle the lever i cant get any diesel to come out of the bleed valve. Ideas?
