might sound daft but have you checked the eletric current to the stop solinoid i had a problem with noth enought current to keep it open. could try that

Hello i have just got a 2.5na and fitted it to my series 2a. I forgot to have a good look for the engine number but i have no idea where it would be can anyone shed any light on its location. Cheers.

I have got a 2.5 diesel na to go in much easier me thinks. Pick it up tuesday.

Thats why i have 1 plus bits kicking around ive replaced 1 in my 90 csw and am going to fit a diesel engine to my series 2a. Thought i could kill 2 birds with 1 stone tidy up and fit diesel lump. Lol but havin said that the td5 has been a pain in the arse. But so has the 2a hahaha

ive got a 13.5 inch rally steering wheel on my 2a looks rather small next to the old 1 but being 6 foot 4 and rather bulky shall we say lol i need all the extra space i can get lol wouldnt say its overly hard to steer but then i learnt to drive in and old fergie tractor lol.

after doing a lot of research to find greenlanes/BOATs in north east there isnt a great deal of them in or around hartlepool as you would expect. the better ones seem to be in county durham and on the north yorkshire moors so no matter where we gou it would be a drive out to get to them... if...

Hello my 2a also leans how can u tell if the springs are in correctly ie is there a left and a right or any marks which are the back and front of each spring cheers
