It sounds like your calliper pistons have become corroded and then pushed back in to enable new pads to be fitted, this will make them very tight.
Cheap fix remove new pads, remove piston boots and carefully pump pistons out to expose corrosion without pumping the pistons out completely then...

I have recently started driving a 2006 R.R. and have been advised about corroded brake pipes. This week the brake fluid warning light came on, this is after the fitting of new pads.
Sitting with the engine running I pushed my foot on the brake and sure enough it went very slowly to the floor...

Just joined this evening after trying to find out how much of a pain it is to replace some brake pipes on my Supercharged Range Rover. I'm not sure if this is the correct route to do my introduction as asked above, but if not I will work it out.
Has anyone got any hints and tips to replace brake...
