Finally it's MOT'ed and on way back it bust a brake cylinder so i still have not drove it on the road more than a few mile. I have just bought a set with 2 new rear cylinders, 2 brake drums and shoes and springs. That should tighten up the rear brakes. The A frame bushing is replaced all fluids...

Looks the biz good luck with it. Good carb clean and few gaskets set of plugs etc will most likely sort it. I have a 1948 ferguson petrol/tvo it ran till hot then would splutter and die but only sometimes. Later found all plug leads had been poorly made and had corroded at the distributor side...

So, another job ticked off the list this morning in that a nice heavy duty marine1500amp battery isolator is now fitted so should stop the parasitic drain till I find the culprit.
