Strange thing is, after reading all the aforesaid, the so-and-so-ing thing still gives me a blast of cool air when I turn right on a round about or when leaving a T junction....

Same garage now 70.9/ltr! (29/09/11).

94,380 as of this morning. Just done two 200 mile round trips, no problems, found lpg at 70.9/ltr on A1 at Buckden (I pay 79.9 normally).

Further to above - LPG now 70.9p/ltr at above service station. (290911)

Update on LPG price. Discovered on Sunday 18/09 that the Shell garage on the A1 at Buckden round-about (near Huntingdon) has re-opened and is selling LPG at 73.9p/ltr.

As some people have said, buy one that's already converted. Make sure you buy one with the sequential feeder system, much better than a single feed. Having bought it, a good LPG installer will charge about 75-90 quid to give it a service. Also, go for one with automatic change over to LPG after...

Re Battery Megastore. Do remeber to print out your invoice if you buy from them - I didn't, thinking it would be there on line if I needed it. Come the day, couldn't get the invoice, as they had "archived" it. Had a hell of a row to get anywhere with them, but eventually my duff 8 month old...
