I have only done 32K Miles since the "Replacement" engine went in three years ago.... (Been fully serviced etc since this) Have checked the Pulley and this is OK but the crank is moving - this has been backed up by main dealer who confirmed it is damaged / spllit and has never seen this before...

I have been told that my 53 Plate TD4 Engine Crankshaft has failed (Spllit). Making a knocking noise and has been inspected by landrover and another mechanic.. This is despite the engine being replaced by Land Rover 3 years ago (Free of charge as a gesture of Goodwill), plus it has only done...
