Yes Agripper, I'm getting the impression that the 24volt version are more reliable although that said I never had any probs with my old 12volt one, but thanks for your comments Regards

    12 or 24 volt?

Fv1620 many thanks for that advice, every little bit of extra information is of great help, really not sure about a 24 volt, at the moment they seem to be more trouble than they are worth, but that could be mostly down to my lack of knowledge about them making them seem daunting. Thanks again.

Ok that sounds like a plan, thanks,...…… we've had plenty of problems and challengers with the damn Freelander...….. but as you say we have researched and repaired them all up to now, touch wood!

    12 or 24 volt?

Hi, I'm looking in the near future to getting another lightweight, I had to let my first one go to fund the house and kids. But time has moved on and I will shortly be hunting for another one, my question is there are loads of 24 volt FFR ones about and some very nice ones at that, but I have...

Well............ never thought I would buy one in the first place, but I actually got it for her in doors as she has arthritis and is finding hard to get in and out of "normal" cars so something a bit higher up was thought to be a good idea, anyway she likes it but don't like to drive it so...
