Just joined

Hi everyone, I have just joined the forum, I have had quite a few landy's over the years, all series types though the last one being a lightweight that was my pride and joy, that was way back in 1994, then we bought a house! then came the kids!! the lightweight went !
Anyway time passes and now I'm looking to buy another lightweight, hopefully in the near future, very near future! I'm running a Freelander at the moment, but it's not really a Landy is it? My eldest son has an ex military 109 that I get to drive from time to time, just to keep my hand in!

Hello ED and welcome. There's a recent thread where a chap bought a lightweight then painted it Kermit green (is ok he changed his mind). Keep us updated, I'd love an old series or lightweight in the garage to supplement my Fender. Good hunting.

Well............ never thought I would buy one in the first place, but I actually got it for her in doors as she has arthritis and is finding hard to get in and out of "normal" cars so something a bit higher up was thought to be a good idea, anyway she likes it but don't like to drive it so I've kind of ended up with it. That said it drives really well and it was amazing in the snow, far exceeded it's expectations, and it's green and it says Landrover on it ....so for now it will have to do!!!
